Audio, clear sound
Sound wise, there are two speakers of 3W each as compared to the MoGo 3 Pro’s 5W speakers. With such a configuration, you should not expect to shake the walls or even disturb the neighbors. At low volumes we could appreciate some clarity of dialogue, but as soon as we turned it up a bit the system couldn’t handle it and then showed severe distortion. The sound is very lacking in warmth and appears very clear. However, the speakers can be used by undemanding people and in small environments.
Consumption and noise pollution
With a white target that covers the entire display surface, the video projector consumes 48W, which is very reasonable, very slightly more than the MoGo 3 Pro.
In terms of noise pollution, we noted an average measurement of 34 dB in operation, which is not enough to use it, even in relative proximity. The Eflin Flip is therefore very discreet.
The remote control
The remote control delivered with the Elfin Flip video projector is strictly identical to the one that comes with the MoGo 3 Pro. It is therefore very light and compact. Powered by two AAA batteries, it is Bluetooth which avoids having to point the device to get a reaction to the image. No backlighting system here, but it tries to make up for it thanks to a relatively ergonomic organization. The keys are quite small, especially the four located at the top, three of which provide direct access to the YouTube, Netflix and Prime Video platforms. The fourth is customizable allowing quick access to certain functions of the device.
